About Us
Delaware State Golf Association
The DSGA is a non-profit organization, established in 1952. We are an AMATEUR golf association whose mission is the preservation and expansion of the game by adhering to the rules and guidelines set forth by the United States Golf Association.
The DSGA membership currently consist of 52 member clubs, encompassing the State of Delaware, and portions of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. Members of all DSGA member clubs are eligible for all DSGA events.
We are a full service association licensed by the United States Golf Association to provide handicapping, course rating, slope rating and other necessary related services. We work cooperatively with other associations to enhance the services provided to the members of our various clubs.
The DSGA provides an annual schedule of tournaments, which attempt to reach all levels of golfing ability. With emphasis on competition according to the Rules of Golf but also not losing sight of the camaraderie provided by this great game.
We sponsor a Scholarship Fund for students entering or attending college, which has provided funding for young men and women for 18 years.
