2011 Junior Scholarship Winners

The Delaware State Golf Association would like to recognize the recipients of the 2011 Scholarships. All scholarships are renewed annually provided grade averages are maintained. The main sponsors of the funding for the scholarships are the DSGA, Toyota Motors USA and the Bob McCurry National Invitation Golf Tournament held each spring at Rancho Mariage, California, for the benefit of the junior golf programs in California and Delaware. The DSGA would like to thank the estate of Harlan Young for its generous donation in 2007.

The DSGA Scholarship Committee awarded six four-year scholarships totalling $10,000 at their annual meeting held in May.

The Scholarships were awarded at the luncheon before the start of the Junior Rehoboth Open, played at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club on Monday, June 13th.

The Scholarship program has 30 students now attending different schools throughout the country, at an annual cost of over $50,000.
