DSGA Annual Award Recipient

The Delaware Annual Award was awarded to long time DSGA volunteer and Rules Official, Charlie Carr. Charlie has volunteered for the DSGA for approximately 20 years. He became interested in the study of the Rules of Golf in the early 1990's when the DSGA needed new Rules Officials. He not only officiates DSGA events, but also a number of college tournaments. Charlie rarely misses a DSGA event, and has settled many bets with his rules knowledge. Over the years, Charlie has logged many miles in a golf cart, during which time, by our estimates, has recovered over 10,000 "abandoned" golf balls.
